Saint Paul Information

Saint Paul is the capital and second-most populous city in Minnesota. Adjoining Minneapolis, the city lies mostly on the north bank of the Mississippi River. These "Twin Cities", form the core of Minneapolis-Saint Paul, the sixteenth largest metropolitan area in the United States.

An upper Midwest business hub, Saint Paul is home to Ecolab and Lawson Software. It also boasts of the Xcel Energy Center, home of the NHL’s Minnesota Wild and the Minnesota Swarm of the National Lacrosse League. It is one of only eight cities in the United States to field a Lacrosse team. The Science Museum of Minnesota is also located in Saint Paul, whose philosophy of science education shows why Saint Paul has one of the highest literacy rates.

The 3M Company is often cited as one of Saint Paul's companies though it is located in adjacent Maplewood. St. Jude Medical, a manufacturer of medical devices, is directly across the municipal border of Saint Paul in Little Canada, though the company’s address is listed in Saint Paul.
